5 Year Old’s Take on Leia’s Slave Outfit

Star Wars has proven elusive for my kids to get into. They still have a pretty heightened sensitivity to some of the things Star Wars is known for, particularly monsters. But I await the day when I’ll be able to share one of my favorite pieces of entertainment with them.

Other kids are less sensitive, and really enjoy the series. I always find it fascinating (and sometimes hilarious) when a kid gives their take on the movies. This one, however, has to be one of my favorite takes ever.

Also, this video marks the first time I will knowingly repurpose a meme. From now on when I refer to “Star Wars Kid” I fully expect everyone to know that this is what I’m referring to, and not that other thing, which was far less cute.
